On the road to Sante Fe. Objective – to get as close as we can and snag a hotel room so that we can begin to see Sante Fe in the morning. Great highways (Rte 40 is a trucking route) at 80-90mph for the most part. We had a nice stop at Painted Desert and were reminded of the vastness of this great western scape. No matter how high a mountain nor how deep a canyon, nothing is as vast as the breadth of our great West. I am reminded of how tiny my physical body is among all things in the universe and, yet, how we are all connected – all one. We found a Motel 6 in Albuquerque – glad to stop driving. Mission accomplished.
