Tent Rocks is the first stop in 25N. Yet another unique rock formation in this vast array of mountains. The small ones line the slope like so many sentries; the larger ones assemble to look like a village of tipis. It was good to hike a bit and feel the body’s wondrous mechanism. Then a a small hiccup in getting our room, but all was well for us – early check in. Historic Sante Fe oozes with charm. Easily walkable, inviting architecture, peaceful plaza. We have much to explore and will take our time doing so. A little take-out and dinner by the pool – lovely night air. After we thought we were settled in, a lady from a few doors down was knocking on all the doors – Lunar Eclipse! Blood red moon won’t happen again for 30 years. Thanks Universe.
